The first Uppin' The Ante Charolais Female Sale was very
successful with cattle selling to six provinces and the United
States. A large crowd enjoyed the pre-sale social the evening
before and the Uppin' The Ante Group served Ontario Corn Fed Beef
for lunch prior to the sale.
The
high selling bred heifer, Lot 1 Wat-Cha Rock Star 32R sold to
Jim & Bruce Page, Palm Desert, CA and Fort Collins, CO, USA
for
$10,000 for 1/2 interest.
Second high selling bred heifer, Lot 15 ACC Elvira 35R sold to
Land O'Lakes Charolais, Madoc, ON for $7800.
High selling cow/calf pair, Lot 22 NOR Sapphire 4K sold to Bev
Rea, Mount Forest, ON for $4400 and her heifer calf, Lot 22a JSR
Sapphire 13S sold to Eric Rieger, Beachburg, ON for $4500.
High selling cow, Lot 26 Murbo Katrina 2K sold to Dennis McFadden,
Hastings, ON for $3000.
High selling heifer calf, Lot 41 Wat-Cha Sinfully Awesome 8S sold
to Cavandown Charolais, Shelburne, ON for $6700.
Second high selling heifer calf, Lot 34 Whiskey Hollow Shimmer
3S sold to Jack Oattes, Cobden, ON for $3800.
